By working closely with researchers and laboratory users, we recognized the need for detector systems that are optimized for a different set of priorities.

While the LAMBDA detector family is renowned for its ultra-high frame rates, many laboratory applications simply do not require kilohertz acquisition speeds. Instead, users often seek outstanding spatial resolution, reliable photon counting, and cost-effective solutions for everyday research.

To address these needs, we expanded the LAMBDA portfolio with the LAMBDA Lab series. It delivers the same proven Medipix3-based imaging performance and excellent spatial resolution in a configuration tailored to laboratory environments, offering an attractive balance of performance, simplicity, and affordability.
