Purchasing manager/Employee for import/export/logistics (f/m/d)

X-Spectrum GmbH develops and distributes state-of-the-art detectors for research institutions and laboratories. We contribute significantly to scientific progress in the fields of research with synchrotron radiation and electron microscopes. Based at one of the world’s leading research centers, we collaborate with partners and scientists from all over the world. Our international team consists of motivated people who are passionate about technology, and we are looking for new team members who share our passion for new technologies. We are searching for a candidate to fill a permanent position as a Purchasing manager/Employee for import/export/logistics (f/m/d) in full or part time (at least 32 hours/5 days per week).

Your tasks

  • In consultation with our production department, you will obtain quotations, prices and delivery times and place orders in our ERP system.
  • In our ERP system, you will be responsible for goods receipt and returns postings as well as the creation of delivery bills for the dispatch of goods.
  • You will be responsible for product and supplier creation and master data maintenance.
  • You will process and monitor the entire purchasing process as well as logistics and shipping processing (import and distribution).
  • You will organize all shipping and customs formalities for national and international shipments: You will create and process customs declarations as well as transport and shipping documents, including the supervision of customs inspections and special customs procedures such as CARNET ATA.
  • You will be a contact person for national and international suppliers, customers, customs authorities and forwarding companies and arrange transport processes.
  • You will actively drive the further development and optimization of your division.
  • You will sporadically take over vacation replacement for other administrative areas (e.g. Office Management).

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed an apprenticeship in the commercial or logistics field or a comparable degree.
  • You have professional experience in the field of purchasing and logistics.
  • You are up to date with all legal requirements for the mentioned areas of responsibility.
  • You are flexible and have good planning skills and an understanding of operational logistics.
  • Your strengths include a strong service mentality and good communication skills.
  • You work independently, thoroughly and in a structured manner.
  • You are fluent in German and English, both spoken and written.

Personnel Officer/Office Manager (f/m/d)

We are searching for a candidate to fill a permanent position as a Personnel Officer/Office Manager (f/m/d) in full or part time (at least 32 hours/5 days per week).

Your tasks

  • You will be the contact person for our employees in all administration matters involving personnel.
  • You will be responsible for payroll tax and social security issues and for creating and maintaining personnel files.
  • Your tasks include preparatory payroll accounting, including correspondence with the tax office responsible for accounting.
  • You will support our recruiting department in the management of applicants.
  • You will draw up employment contracts and assist with the onboarding process.
  • You will organize team events.
  • You will manage X-Spectrum’s central secretariat, which is the first point of contact for all employees, visitors, and callers.
  • You will be responsible for central tasks such as reception, incoming and outgoing mail and phone calls, and office organization.
  • After a thorough introductory training, you will be responsible for individual standard processes in the area of data privacy.

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship, preferably in the field of Human Resources.
  • You have relevant professional experience as well as relevant knowledge in personnel administration.
  • You have a convincing hands-on mentality and enjoy helping to shape the company.
  • Your strengths include a strong service mentality and good communication skills.
  • You work style is structured, independent, conscientious, and discreet.
  • You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.

Marketing Manager (f/m/d)

Your tasks

  • You will take over the management of X-Spectrum’s marketing activities and coordinate our contractors in coordination with the management and the sales department.
  • You will observe the competition and analyze the market under the aspects of customer insights and customer journey.
  • You will develop an innovative, future-oriented marketing idea and suitable marketing strategies.
  • You will plan online strategies (SEO and SEA) as well as offline advertising strategies and implement them.
  • You will be responsible for maintaining and expanding our corporate identity for all print and online media.
  • You will organize our activities in trade fairs and other events.

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed a degree in media or communications science or have a comparable education with a focus on marketing.
  • Ideally, you already have experience in the areas of SEO, SEA, social media and email marketing.
  • You have a good understanding of complex contexts, language and graphic skills, creativity, and digital competence.
  • You are confident, a strong communicator, and able to compromise.
  • Your work independently, analytically and are well-organized.
  • You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
