THE COMPANY
X-Spectrum GmbH is a spin-off of DESY. We develop and produce state-of-the-art cameras and detector systems for X-ray applications in large research facilities and industry. We work with scientists and industrial customers all over the world.
X-Spectrum is located on the beautiful new premises of the Start-Up Labs Bahrenfeld on the campus of the DESY Research Center in Hamburg.

Controller (m/w/d)
In Teilzeit – ca. 20 Std./Woche
Die Aufgaben
- Unterstützung im Bereich Controlling / Finanzen inkl. Reporting, Auswertungen und Statistiken
- Optimierung der Prozesse in den Bereichen Produktionscontrolling und Kostenrechnung
- Identifikation neuer Fördergeldprojekte und Kommunikation mit Fördergeldgebern und -partnern
- Unterstützung bei der Erstellung von Fördergeldanträgen und Projektkostenkalkulation
- Koordination und Prüfung der Fördergeldabrufe und Zwischenberichte
Ihr Profil
- Abgeschlossenes BWL-Studium oder Studium der Wirtschaftswissenschaften o.ä.
- Mehrjährige relevante Berufserfahrung im Bereich Controlling und/oder Accounting
- Selbstständige Arbeitsweise, Flexibilität, Teamgeist und Can-Do-Einstellung
- Sichere Beherrschung der deutschen und englischen Sprache in Wort und Schrift

Design Engineer – X-Ray Cameras (m/f/d)
Your tasks
- Mechanical design and optimization of product mechanics and electronics (housing, cooling, module concept)
- Accompanying the entire product life cycle from concept to small series production in close coordination with our electronics development and production teams
- Developing models and prototypes
- Conducting and documenting tests of the designed mechanical and electrical components
- Material selection and supplier management including quality control
- Development of custom designs according to customer specifications
Your profile
- Degree in mechanical or mechatronics engineering or similar equivalent qualifications
- Relevant professional experience with microelectronics, vacuum systems or x-ray detectors preferred
- Experience with 3D-CAD systems, ideally SolidWorks
- Independent worker, strong team spirit and can-do attitude
- Fluent in English. German would be of advantage.
